Michael Dier

Owner

After high school, Michael Dier went straight to work. He followed in his father Mickey’s steps and went into the roofing business. Michael and Steven Watkins took their first job installing a commercial roof on an apartment complex. After the job was complete, they decided to place an ad in the Yellow Pages, and there Watkins Construction & Roofing was officially born. Michael has dedicated his entire adulthood to roofing. He has been relentless in his pursuit of perfection in the product he provides.

Michael adores his wife Sallie and their two children, Alec and Addie. Michael enjoys time with his family as well as hunting and playing golf. Sallie is a CPA and is the CFO at Watkins.

Sallie Dier

Sallie Dier is the wife of Michael Dier and the mother of two children, Addie and Alec. She attended Mississippi College and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Following college, she pursued a career in public accounting and also received the designation of Certified Public Accountant. Sallie has over 15 years of experience in both public and private financial accounting and management.

Lurk the Leak

Meet Lurk the Leak, a mischievous little water droplet who loves causing trouble in your home or business. While he might seem like just a tiny annoyance, roof leaks can quickly turn into a bigger problem if left unchecked, leading to serious damage and expensive repairs. But don’t worry—despite his pranks, Lurk’s found a home with Watkins, where he helps teach both kids and adults about the dangers of letting leaks run wild.

Waymon Thornton

Waymon Thornton started working in the warehouse at Dal-tile in high school. He worked there for 18 years. He worked up from the warehouse to assistant manager. Waymon aims to do the best at everything he does and loves working with the public and strives for the best customer service. He’s married to his beautiful wife, Kara. They are blessed with one child, Zeke. When he’s not at work, he loves spending time with his family or in a shop working on classic cars.

Ryan Bell

Ryan Bell comes to Watkins Construction & Roofing after many years in restaurant and food sales. Before going into the restaurant industry Ryan had several years of experience in road construction and residential demolition. Ryan will be in Sales and Marketing with Watkins Construction & Roofing and he looks forward to helping you get a roof on your home. He is happily married to his wife Lindsey of over five years. They have two boys, Brooks and Bowen. Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his sons Little League teams.

Mike Covington

Mike was born in Brookhaven, MS. He currently resides in Madison, MS with his wife, Robin, and two children, Sarah and MJ. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Wildlife Management. Following college, he pursued a career with State Farm Insurance with an emphasis on property claims. Mike has over 18 years of experience in insurance property claim handling, estimating, and construction. Mike enjoys spending time with his family, working out, and doing anything outdoors.

Theresa Drennan

Theresa Drennan was born in Vicksburg and raised in Richland, MS. She currently resides in Flora, MS with her husband of over 30 years, Doug. She attended high school at Richland Attendance Center and studied accounting at Holmes Community College. Theresa enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and watching weird movies with her family.

Jamie Price

Jamie is a key member of the Watkins Construction & Roofing sales team. He has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry. Jamie has been involved in hundreds of remodel projects as well as new home construction. He has seen Watkins Construction & Roofing grow so much during his tenure. Jamie has extensive experience in dealing with the insurance industry and helping people get back on their feet. He has been happily married to his wife Ashley and they currently have two daughters. Jamie enjoys spending time with family and anything that involves the outdoors.

Shan Hales

Shan Hales has established himself as a leader on the Watkins Construction & Roofing sales team. He brings over 25 years of experience in public service and training. Shan attended Mississippi College, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Shan is a native Mississippian and lives in the Jackson Metro area with his wife, Melissa, and his daughter, Alexis. Shan enjoys hunting, golfing, and spending quality time with his family.

Jeff Thomas

Jeff Thomas has worked his way from production into sales. He is married with 3 children. Jeff loves spending time with his wife and kids. A good portion of that time is spent at the ball fields.

Jeff has been with Watkins Construction & Roofing for a little over 4 years, with multiple years in the construction business prior. Jeff states, “I love working for the company and you will not find a better roofing company”. Jeff is in sales for the company where he strives for quality work and great customer satisfaction with every job.

Cade Richardson

Cade Richardson grew up in Terry Mississippi and enjoys the life that a small town offers. Hunting and fishing are some of his daily hobbies. He graduated from Copiah Academy in 2014 and attended Co-Lin and Hinds Community College with a major in psychology. Cade helps make sure the jobs run as smoothly as possible by making sure the crew and customers have everything they need. He makes sure the roof is installed correctly and that all additional work pertaining to the roof is completed the “Watkins Way.”

Johnny Cassatta

Johnny Cassatta grew up in the Delta playing football and baseball. He’s an Ole Miss fan but an MS guy. He is happily married to his wife, Kelly. They have two daughters, Carlee and Caitlyn. He loves all sports that MS is involved in. His passion is helping kids. He travels the Southeast region coaching a travel girls softball team which placed 3rd in the USSSA Nationals in 2018. Johnny has a background in sales and restaurant ownership and loves to cook in his spare time.

Marc Brewer

Marc Brewer is a member of the Watkins Construction & Roofing sales team. He brings over 10 years of experience in customer service and training. His expertise in the area will help enhance the experience for the Watkins Construction & Roofing client. Marc attended Belhaven University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He was also a member of the baseball team. Marc and his wife, Summer, have 2 children, Carson and Piper. Marc enjoys spending time with his family and everything sports related.

Matthew Martin

Matthew Martin grew up in Brandon, Mississippi, where he still lives with his wife, Tristin, and their children, Addyson Grace and Kyler. He graduated from Hartfield Academy in 2014 and Mississippi State University in 2018. During his free time, he spends time with family, friends, and hunting. Matthew is a hard and diligent worker. He is in charge of scheduling and making roofing orders.

John Allan Mitchell

John Allan attended Holmes Community College, where he played on the golf team, then graduated from Mississippi State University. He has been around construction in one way or another for most of his career. He worked in the Natural Gas Industry before moving back home and starting with Watkins. He enjoys playing golf, turkey hunting, and the outdoors.

Rachel Lowery

Rachel Lowery lives with her four rambunctious dogs. She earned her Associate Degree from JCJC, a proud Jones College Alumni.

Todd White

Todd White is a Mississippi native who grew up in Brookhaven. He met his wife, Diane, when she moved to Mississippi from California to dance with Ballet Magnificat in their early years. They raised four children, mostly in Franklin TN. His passion has always been music and he spent the first 20 years of his career as a music industry executive in touring, marketing, A&R, and as a record label head. 

In 2004 he started a marketing agency called NEON Marketing in Nashville. He had the opportunity to merge the agency with Mississippi’s own GodwinGroup in 2008 which allowed him to move back to his home state. A few years later he retired from the agency and later went to work with a former client, and one of the area’s leading custom home builders, Lyles Signature Homes. It was during this tenure he realized how much he enjoyed the construction process. He eventually joined the Watkins team and thoroughly enjoys working with us. 

Todd believes that commitment and communication are the two main keys to customer satisfaction. “I don’t take lightly the trust my customers place in me,” he says. “It’s not just a roof. It’s security, protection, and an aesthetic part of their home. It’s important for me to get it right for them and I’m determined to do just that.” 

Lexi Davis

Lexi Davis was born and raised in Wiggins, MS. She currently resides in Harrisville, MS, with her boyfriend, Logan, and their dog, Ellie. In her spare time, she loves to bake, spend time with her family and diy around the house.

Andrew Harden

Andrew grew up in the Mississippi Delta, where he played baseball in high school. Mississippi State is his favorite sports team. Andrew loves the outdoors. He is also new to the roofing industry but loves learning new trades.

Jeremy Gunalda

Jeremy Gunalda has been in the home construction and improvement industry for over 20 years. He also has significant experience in dealing with insurance-related claims/damage repairs. Jeremy’s reputable and proficient expertise in structural repair will ensure your upcoming roofing project will be planned appropriately and executed professionally.

Jeremy resides in his hometown of Madison, Mississippi with his wife, Beth, and three daughters, Josie, Karris, and Dorsey Rose. He and his family love to be outdoors, especially when camping and fishing together. Beth is the Membership Director for the Mississippi Automobile Dealers Association.

Travis Foster

Travis Foster is a native Mississippian born and raised in the Jackson area and a recent addition to the Watkins Roofing and Construction sales team. Travis attended Seminary in east Texas where he met his wife Ann and is an active member and youth leader at his church in Byram.

He strives for the ideal customer experience and when not working with a customer can be found at the gym or spending time with his wife and little girls.

Michael Hemphill

Michael was born and raised in Jackson MS and graduated in 1999 from Hillcrest Christian School. He attended Hinds Community College in Raymond MS after high school. Michael has over 20 years of experience in construction and obtains his general contractor’s license. Michael enjoys helping others, finding solutions, and all outdoor activities. Michael has been married to his wife Ashley since 2013 and they have two daughters. Michael is so excited to be a part of the Watkins Construction & Roofing team.  He would love to be included in your next roofing project! 

Wendy Hutchins

Wendy Hutchins is a graduate of The University of Mississippi and joined the Watkins Team as our business development manager in June 2020. Wendy has a passion for all people, and she takes great pride in providing only the best for our customers and business partners. She serves as an active member of the Rotary Club and volunteers for both The American Cancer Society (in memory of her mother’s cancer journey) and Make-A-Wish. Her hobbies include baking, painting, and amateur photography from her home in Terry. Wendy has two sons, Bryant and Brandon.

Amber McCrillis

Amber McCrillis has four children, Kinley, Matty, Taylor, and Trip. She earned a degree from Hinds Community College in Respiratory Therapy and a bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Mississippi.

Bryce Graves

Bryce Graves grew up and lives in Brandon Ms. He graduated from high school in 2021 and is eager to learn everything there is about Roofing. During his free time he enjoys spending time hunting, fishing, and golfing.

Bradley Gilbert

Bradley was born and raised in Brandon, Mississippi. He graduated from Brandon High School as well. He has several years of experience in the metal roofing industry. Bradley enjoys playing golf, and basketball, traveling to Ole Miss football games, and going to church. He is super excited to be a part of Watkins Construction & Roofing!

Brittany Bullock

Brittany Bullock lives with her two sons, Rylan and Jace, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. Brittany has over a decade of experience in the insurance and customer service industry. Her knowledge and years of experience make her uniquely qualified to guide customers from start to finish.

Derek Cutts

Derek Cutts is from Ackerman, MS, and currently resides in Madison, MS. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Business in Risk Management and Financial Planning. Since graduating, Derek has been involved in both sales and adjusting for State Farm and has an extensive working knowledge of reconstruction for commercial and residential property. While he is not at work he enjoys doing anything and everything outdoors.

Matthew Hajj

Matthew Hajj was born and raised in Florence, MS. He has been married since 2015 to his wife Amber and has two children, CJ and Nikki. Matthew loves being outdoors hunting and helping his kids with go-carts or four-wheelers. He is a big motocross fan and enjoys watching his brothers and nephew race and compete.

Chad Harrison

Chad Harrison has over 17 years of experience in residential construction, from framing and roofing to cabinetry and countertops. After being laid off for three years in the oilfield, Chad joined Watkins working from H&P Drilling. He resides with his wife, Megan. Chad enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and date nights with his wife. He has no plans to return to the oilfield.

Ashley McCrillis

Ashley grew up in Byram, MS, and played football and baseball. Huge Ms. State fan of all sports. Has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Ashley was involved in many new construction jobs where he built custom cabinets and oversaw multiple Remodel jobs. Away from work, Ashley loves hunting and fishing when he’s not watching his son play baseball for Madison Central.

Jaylyn Albritton

Jaylyn Albritton, the Controller at Watkins Construction & Roofing, is a native Mississippian. She obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Mississippi in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in math. While at Ole Miss, Jaylyn was a member of Phi Mu sorority and had the opportunity to study abroad in Ireland. Upon graduation from Ole Miss, Jaylyn received her Master of Business Administration from Mississippi College. Jaylyn currently resides in Madison, MS, with her German Shepherd, Finley, and she enjoys traveling, running, and shopping.

Tate Ratcliff

Tate Ratcliff was born and raised in the Madison County area. Went to Ridgeland High School, where he played baseball and soccer. Went to college at Jones County Junior College and Mississippi College where he continued playing baseball. He has been married to my wife Sarah Beth for 5 years, and they have a daughter, Lynnleigh Tate who is 3 years old. Previous work, at a family-owned company in the petroleum business for 5 years and as Insurance Agent with Farm Bureau for 3 years.

Stephanie Stratton

Stephanie Stratton graduated from JCJC with an Associate Degree and resides in Pearl with her husband and two fur babies. She is always up for an adventure, whether it’s a sunny beach trip, a competitive round of board or yard games, or just soaking up the good vibes of 70s rock on vinyl. Stephanie loves to have fun and enjoys bringing that same energy to Watkins.

Gabe Shows

Gabe Shows was born and raised in Laurel, MS. He moved to Gulf Breeze, FL where he went to High School at Gulf Breeze High School before returning to Laurel and graduating from Laurel High School. Gabe attended Mississippi State University where he majored in Real Estate/Mortgage Financing and Banking and Investments. Gabe has 20 years of sales experience across multiple industries. He most recently left the Pharmaceutical/Medical Sales Industry after more than a successful decade-long career. Gabe loves spending time with his wife, Krystal, and their 4 children. Gabe is also an avid fitness junkie and loves working out in his free time. Gabe is very excited to join the Watkins team! He would love to be involved in your next roofing project!

Leon Hemphill

Leon Hemphill and his wife of 49 years, Anita, have three sons and six granddaughters. He is active in their church and enjoys woodworking and golfing in his spare time.

Amanda Niemeyer

Amanda Niemeyer graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She resides with her two children of the fur variety, Ryder and Ruger. Amanda enjoys spending time in her garden, at the gym, and with friends and family.

Lauren Touchstone

Lauren was born in Pearl, MS, and raised in Byram, MS. She graduated from Terry High School with honors in 2007. She currently resides in Flowood, MS. Lauren enjoys reading, road trips with her boyfriend, and spending quality time with her family. 

Jessica Nichols

Jessica resides in Pisgah Ms with her husband and three boys. When Jessica is not at work, she is at ballgames or the racetrack with her boys, cheering them on! 

Jay Walker

Jay Walker is from Crystal Springs, Mississippi. He graduated from Copiah Academy in 2001. He is married with two daughters.  He loves playing golf and working on his classic truck in his free time.  Jay is looking forward to what the future holds for Watkins Construction & Roofing!!

Daniel Davis

Daniel Davis is from Ridgeland, Mississippi and graduated from Ridgeland High School. After High School he went to live in New Zealand, and when he got back he went to Hinds CC. He has experience in Industrial Mechanics, as well as many aspects of construction. He takes great pride in getting the job done correctly! In his free time he enjoys spending time with family, hunting, and arm wrestling! He’s very proud to be working for the Watkins team!

Angela Fonseca

Angela Fonseca, an Ole Miss Graduate, finds joy in exploring new cities and attending professional soccer matches with her family. In her spare time she likes going to the gym and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Kevin Gaines

Kevin was born and raised in Louisiana. He graduated from LSU with a degree in Mass Communications. He happily calls Farihope, AL, home with his wife and three children. In his spare time, you’ll find Kevin outdoors near the water, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Kevin comes to Watkins with over ten years of experience in territory management and sales. He enjoys meeting new people and helping others.

Bryson Price

Bryson Price was born and raised in Mississippi and currently resides in rural Polkville, MS. He graduated from high school in 2023 and received his EPA certification. Bryson is an auxiliary member of the Polkville Volunteer Fire Department. He is heavily involved with his community and home church. Bryson enjoys learning about roofing knowledge and working at Watkins Construction & Roofing.

Jonathan Fuller

Jonathan Fuller was born and raised in Jackson, MS. He attended high school at Byram Attendance Center and is a graduate of Belhaven College with a degree in Business Administration. Jonathan has over 25 years in the construction industry serving in roles in design, sales, project management, and business development. He enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, attending church, and helping others.

Brady Reis

Brady grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, and in Florence, Mississippi. He graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2024 with a Video Arts degree. His work includes videography and video editing. He spends his free time at home and enjoys games and movies.

Ethan Harris

Ethan grew up in Wesson, Mississippi and has been in the construction industry for over 10 years. He has traveled around the country working on various projects in the roofing and construction field. When he’s not working, Ethan enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and hunting. 

Brennan Buchanan

Brennan Buchanan was born and raised in Greenville, Mississippi. He attended Mississippi College, where he served as Vice President of the Rotaract Service Club, reflecting his passion for leadership and giving back to the community.

Professionally, Brennan has built a career in sales, with experience in both the power tool industry and as an insurance agent, where he enjoys building relationships and helping others find solutions that fit their needs.  

Outside of work, Brennan loves playing golf, spending time with friends, and making memories with his fiancée, Kelsey Gray. A devoted sports fan, Brennan never misses an opportunity to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys and Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Brian Wagner

Brian brings a wealth of experience in Business Development and Sales to Watkins Construction & Roofing. He and his wife, Kelly, have been married for 22 years and have two children, Addysen and Barrett. Brian and Kelly are the proud owners of The Bottling Company in Hattiesburg, MS. In his free time, Brian enjoys cherishing moments with his family, especially while watching his kids excel in cheerleading, baseball, and track.

Grady Ladner

Originally from Vidalia, Louisiana, Grady now resides in Brandon, Mississippi, with his wife, Anna, and their two beloved dogs, Murphy and Luke. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with friends. A self-proclaimed hamburger enthusiast, Grady loves experimenting with new preparations and flavors for his favorite dish.

Brittney Guest

Brittney, a native of Durant, Mississippi, now resides in Brandon with her husband and four sons. With over a decade of experience in sales and customer service, Brittney enjoys her free time cheering on her boys at their sporting events, reading, and spending quality time with her family. 

Baxter Hartness

Baxter lives in Fairhope, AL with his wife, Allyson, and daughter, Holland. They have a golden retriever, Rooster. Baxter enjoys spending time with his family and likes being outdoors and fishing when he can. 

Zac Watts

Zac attended Holmes Community College and completed his education at Delta State University.  He has worked in construction in various aspects for many years. From office supply and furniture sales, to custom home building and teaching fly-fishing, Zac prides himself on customer service. Outside of work, he’s either on the water with my wife and golden retriever, duck hunting, or spending time in the great outdoors.
