Roof Warranties

Our 50-year workmanship warranty is available for full roof replacements.

A workmanship warranty covers errors made during the installation of roofing materials. Standard material warranties only cover errors in the manufactured product themselves. Since most insurance claims are rejected due to installation errors, having a workmanship warranty provides a key level of protection for your new roof!

— why we choose —

Watkins Construction & Roofing

One of the most intimidating projects a business or property owner can undertake is a commercial roof repair or full roof replacement. Regular maintenance is essential, but sometimes it is not enough, especially when the roof has sustained damage from environmental threats such as storms, extreme temperatures, or prolonged wear and tear.

FAQs

We offer complimentary roof inspections and roof repair or replacements estimates to any Commercial building in our service areas.

Watkins Construction & Roofing has trained roof inspectors who can spot these signs of roof damage that may be hidden out of sight. These professional inspectors can help figure out whether the damage is significant enough for a full roofing insurance claim and roof replacement or if a roof repair is the better option for your roof.

Even though shingles and other roofing components are the main consideration during a roof replacement, there are many other parts of your home that need to be inspected for problems as well. These include:

  • Seals around skylights that keep water from leaking in.
  • Vents need to be checked for screens that keep debris and bugs out.
  • Gutters and downspouts should be inspected for proper connections, clogs, and possible damage. These issues could make water back up and rot your roof, run into basements, or onto the foundation.
  • Materials (such as flashing) that help control the flow of water need to be checked. They help keep water from seeping into your home’s walls, which can potentially cause mold and/or structural damage.
  • Your roof should also be checked for algae, mold, or other organisms growing on your roof.

Our 50-year workmanship warranty is available for full roof replacements. This warranty is for up to 50 years and is backed by the fortune 500 company, Owens Corning.

Even though the roofing surface and main structural materials are the primary focus during a commercial roof replacement, there are many other parts of the building that need to be inspected for issues as well. These include:

  • Seals around skylights, HVAC units, and other rooftop openings that keep water from leaking into the building.
  • Vents should be checked to ensure screens are in place to keep out debris and pests.
  • Gutters, downspouts, and internal drains should be inspected for proper flow, blockages, and any damage. These issues can cause water to back up, leading to roof deterioration, leaks, or even damage to the foundation.
  • Materials like flashing that help control the flow of water need to be inspected. Flashing helps keep water from getting into the building’s structure, which can lead to mold or structural problems.
  • The roof should also be checked for algae, mold, or other organic growth that could indicate moisture issues or damage to roofing materials.
